Shepard Civil Engineering can provide Professional design

Planning and Permitting

At Shepard Civil Engineering, we will guide you through the
lengthy and sometimes confusing planning, approval, and
building phase.

Site Visit - We visit the site and listen carefully to the desires of
the owner or developer and offer any pertinent comments.

Sketch Plan or Feasibility Study - Sometimes there can be a
need for a sketch plan to determine the economic feasibility of
a project.  A sketch plan is also used when decisions must be
made between multiple design choices.

Preliminary Plan - Many municipalities require a one to two
page detailed drawing before approval will be given.  These
drawings will include preliminary building and utility
placement, grading, parking lot plan, entrances, and needed
storm water detention basins.  This plan must be presented for
approval at a Planning and Zoning meeting.  Shepard Civil
Engineering can prepare the exhibits for the public meeting and
present your project for approval.

Construction/Improvement Plans - After the approval meeting,
comments from the municipality must be addressed and the
final construction plans developed.  Shepard Civil Engineering
finalizes all needed calculations for storm water run off,
sanitary sewer drainage and site grading.  Detailed drawings are
then prepared in detail to allow for accurate and timely
construction.

Construction Inspection

For your convenience, Shepard Civil Engineering also offers
construction inspection services to assure the quality of the
building project.

We can also assist you in the selecting and bidding of the
general contractor or builder.
